I'm always listening to music: seeking new artists out and trying to see live music whenever it comes to Denver or Boulder. Growing up I played a few different instruments, but the only one that I've stuck with to any degree is the guitar. The best place to find out about what I'm listening to is my Last.fm profile, which records tracks that have been played from many software media players or even devices like iPhones and iPods. I get a good amount of music recommendations from my friends, but I also keep up with several sources online:
Just like any food or drink, there are good beers and there are not-so-good beers, and there is often an inverse correlation between the size of the brewery and the taste of its beer. This is difficult not to notice in Colorado with the ready supply of breweries and craft beer-related events, like the Great American Beer Festival.
I've never home-brewed myself, but I do frequent a few local brew pubs:
I probably indulge a little too much in screen-based entertainment, but I try to stick to the high quality stuff when I can.
Despite being a life-long geek, I never fully got into comics or graphic novels. I have been into a handful of webcomics for a while and since they've become available on the iPad I've read the electronic version of a few paper-based comics.
